Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 March 2026

FuelPulse (“we”, “us”) provides a community map for fuel availability and situational awareness. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use our website, apps, and APIs. It is written to align with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar expectations; if you are outside the EU, local laws may also apply.

1. Data controller

The operator of the FuelPulse service identified at https://fuelpulse.live acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the service, unless we state otherwise (e.g. payment processor acting as processor).

2. What we collect

3. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)

4. Sharing

We use subprocessors where necessary (e.g. hosting, maps, OAuth providers, payment gateways such as Paystack). They may process data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above: for example, account data while your account exists; logs for a limited period; community content according to product rules (e.g. expiry of notes or reports).

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, or port your data, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Contact us through channels we publish on the service. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

7. International transfers

If data is processed outside your country, we use appropriate safeguards where required (e.g. standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).

8. Children

The service is not directed at children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
